It’s not your fault!

Unprocessed traumas from previous generations, stressors while in utero, adverse messages (real or imagined) while growing up could have created patterns that today get in the way of your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

You may have grown up in an environment that may not always have felt safe or your parents may not always been able to give you the kind of attention you needed.

There are many reasons why we have built up survival strategies in childhood that no longer serve us in adulthood, but not being connected to ourselves, we did not notice, and we keep using these automatic behaviors and patterns that block us from being fully alive.

Perhaps it might be time to look inside to explore what these patterns are and how they can be dissolved.

How I work

I work primarily with the Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM), which is a somatic, resource-oriented, and non-regressive approach for healing early attachment and intergenerational wounds.

More information on the NARM approach here.

What can you expect?

Trauma healing takes time and patience. Patience with yourself, with the process.
I am here to guide you through the process, helping you to reconnect to your true self in the here and now without revisiting the past more than necessary.
As a therapist, I can be that presence that you may not have had when you most needed it. Using mindfulness, we can get in touch with your thoughts and emotions that get in the way of experiencing more joy and fulfillment in your life.
Because it is my belief that every human being has a diamond inside and all we need to do is take it out and clean it off.

Contact me if you wish to polish your diamond. Because you are worth it!

An Overview of NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) Therapy

Traditional therapy often centers around addressing adverse events and helping individuals navigate the resulting challenges. However, there’s a contemporary approach that shifts the focus from dysfunction to strength, aiming to empower individuals to overcome past issues through present experiences. This progressive form of counseling is embodied in the NeuroAffective Relational Model, or NARM for short.
